These little guys are sure tricky to capture as they're so fast! There was a nest close by that the parents were flying back and forth to, so I had a predictable flight-path to plan for. Also, I was able to pick a good location to shoot from to take advantage of the low sun for maximum light and therefore fast shutter speed. (1/2000 sec @ f5.0, ISO 500)...I used my new 200-400mm zoom lens attached to my Really Right Stuff panorama setup which functions like a Wimberly head. This is a much lighter setup which is good for hiking and backpacking.
